This photography competition is such a wonderful way to showcase creativity, and it reminds me of how much I used to love capturing the world through a lens before my schedule got so hectic. Last semester, I was so buried under technical coursework that I almost missed a major gallery deadline, and I remember feeling so overwhelmed that I jokingly told a friend I’d rather pay someone to do my online exam just to get back out into the field with my camera. It’s truly important to find outlets like this contest to keep that artistic spark alive, especially when academic pressures start to drain all your creative energy.
