KALINGA LIT FEST BEGINS IN CITY ON JUNE 10

The fourth Kalinga Literary Festival will be held from June 10 to 12 here with participation of around 200 celebrities from the worlds of literature, cinema, media and politics. The theme of the festival is ‘Literature for Peace and Harmony.’ Chief guest Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will inaugurate the festival, while Union HRD Minister of State Dr MahendraNath Pandey will be guest of honour and chief key note speaker. Other speakers in the inaugural session include eminent writer and poet Dr Kedarnath Singh and renowned writer and academic Dr HS Shivprakash. Many Internationally acclaimed artist will exhibit their art creation during Kalinga Literary Festival. The festival will introduce special sessions for poets and artists.
